Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide the highest quality car detailing services, RambinoAutoShine cannot be held liable for any damages or issues that may occur during or after the service. Customers are advised to inspect their vehicle before and after the detailing process to ensure satisfaction.

DISCLAIMER

1.0 GENERAL

This document outlines the disclaimers associated with RambinoAutoShine’s services and scope of work. These disclaimers reflect our commitment to transparency and clarity in all customer interactions.

Our trained staff detail customer vehicles with the utmost care. However, RambinoAutoShine is not liable for any mechanical, electrical, or electronic component failures that may occur without cause while the vehicle is in our care. Examples include, but are not limited to, window or door malfunctions, non-starting vehicles, convertible roof issues, seat locking problems, and failures of electrical systems or display screens.

Upon check-in, we ask customers to identify and point out any pre-existing issues or components at risk of failure. This allows us to take extra care in those areas during the cleaning process.

Nonetheless, RambinoAutoShine will not be held responsible for repairing components that are already weak or near failure and may tear, break, or come loose during cleaning.

If we discover defective or loosely attached parts during the detailing process, we may be unable to clean them thoroughly and will inform the customer accordingly.


2.0 INTERIOR DETAILING / CLEANING

Customers are kindly asked to remove all personal items from their vehicles before their appointment. RambinoAutoShine is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items. A surcharge of $25 may apply for removing and repacking personal belongings left in the vehicle.

Please note:

  • Glove box interiors will not be cleaned, and their contents will not be disturbed.

  • Child car seats should be removed in advance if cleaning beneath them is desired. We do not reinstall child seats and are not liable for improper installation.

  • Excessive pet hair or dirt will result in a surcharge. This may range from:

    • $20 (small jobs)

    • $50 (medium jobs)

    • $100 (large jobs)
      Charges are assessed by the detailing technician based on the additional effort required.

Enclosed canopies on large trucks are generally not cleaned due to limited accessibility and the presence of tools or supplies. Cleaning of these areas is available upon request at an additional cost.


3.0 EXTERIOR DETAILING / CLEANING

RambinoAutoShine is not liable for any paint damage that may occur during polishing, waxing, or other detailing processes. This includes painted surfaces that are aging, poorly applied, or already peeling, cracking, or lifting.

We are also not responsible for damage to paint protection films (PPF) during washing. Customers must notify us of any coatings prior to service. In such cases, we use low-pressure hoses to minimize risk.

For vehicles with aftermarket window tinting, we take special care not to use abrasive tools; however, we are not responsible for film that peels or lifts during cleaning.

Sunroof Cleaning:
We only clean sunroof glass surfaces in the closed position. We do not clean tracks or internal sunroof components. These areas are best serviced by specialized auto glass technicians who can ensure proper lubrication, drainage, and function.

RambinoAutoShine is not responsible for damage to decorative items such as emblems, trim, or roof racks that may occur during standard cleaning. Customers should ensure such items are securely affixed and in good condition before service.


4.0 SPECIFIC ITEMS

  • Cabin Air Filters:
    As a courtesy, we may install customer-supplied cabin filters. However, we are not liable for installation errors or resulting mechanical issues.

  • Vehicle Batteries:
    We are not responsible for dead or weak batteries. While we minimize battery drain by limiting electrical use, some drain may occur (e.g., from open doors during cleaning). Customers should ensure their battery is in good working condition before service.

  • Engine Cleaning:
    While we take care during engine cleaning, water may enter improperly sealed electrical components, occasionally causing starting issues. In such cases, customers are asked to return the vehicle for our complimentary engine drying service. RambinoAutoShine will not reimburse any third-party repair bills for engine drying or related issues.


5.0 RAMBINOAUTOSHINE INTERIOR/EXTERIOR HAND WASH

A RambinoAutoShine Interior/Exterior Hand Wash is a 1 Hour "maintenance washup" service ideal for newer or previously detailed vehicles. It is not intended to replace a full detail service. While any vehicle size may be booked for a hand wash, customers should note that results will differ significantly from our premium detailing services, which typically require 4–8 hours of labor.


6.0 RAMBINOAUTOSHINE UTILITY ACCESS REQUIREMENT

At RambinoAutoShine, we strive to provide the highest quality mobile detailing services with care and professionalism. To ensure the best results and efficient service at your location, please note the following:

  • Utility Access Requirement: For all mobile detailing appointments, we require access to a functional electrical outlet and a water supply within 50 feet of the vehicle. This allows our technicians to operate equipment and deliver the full range of services efficiently.

  • If access to electricity or water is not available at your location, please notify us in advance so we can discuss alternative arrangements. Additional charges may apply for portable equipment use.
